He lapped up the meal with vigor, eyes gleaming though hers were shut. He continued eagerly tasting her lips and her blood. It was so sweet...he'd never had blood that tasted so delicious. Perhaps it was because she was a lycan. He'd never been able to get a taste of them before. Eventually, he pulled away and pressed his forehead against hers, breathing hard. After all, one has to come up for air.
His nose pressed against hers. Oh, if he could sweat, he certainly would be. All this kissing was quite a work out.

Alto's eyes darted open. She grinned at him, and the bleeding had just stopped. Silently, she hoped this wouldn't be like how it was with Jake, her former love.
"Rose Lunaria, what are you DOING?" her leader screeched shrilly. She'd just witnessed Alto kissing Jacob Black, during a battle. Jacob - the vampire, the monster, the enemy. "N-nothing." Alto murmured. "Oh, that was something alright. You love the enemy?!" the leader shot at her. Alto stared at her feet. "You've never known how to love, and what it's like!' she countered. "Like it matters. Are you more loyal to that bloodsucking scrap, or your leader that has been caring and nourishing you?" the leader growled. "He's not that bad! Really!" "Prove your loyalty. To him, or to me." The leader tossed her a knife. "If you are loyal to your Clan, you will stab him in the heart. If you are loyal to him, stab me." "NO! I won't do it.." Alto barked, tears filling her eyes. "I'll stab you! Make a choice." Jake suddenly cried out, instead of watching, "Stab me, Alto. I've already sinned too much in this world..." he muttered. "No..." Alto sighed. The leader pushed Alto into him and forced a stab. "Goodbye, my love.." were the last words that cracked out of Jake's mouth.
The memory killed her, and tears flooded her eyes, sobs escaping from her mouth.

At the first sign of tears, the vampire flinched away in surprise. He himself was not able to produce tears. However, he could cry. But when he cried, instead of tears, blood would come into his eyes and fall out. Such was why generally his kind made a point of not displaying extreme distress or sadness. Being in emotional pain and suddenly driven into a frenzy was a bad idea. Bewildered, he had no idea what he had done wrong.
"What's the matter?" he asked immediately, voice laced with concern. He reached forward hesitantly and placed one long arm around her, pulling her close to him.

Alto sniffed a bit. "Oh... i-i-it's nothing." she sighed, wiping tears on her arm. "Just some bad memories is all." She nodded silently. The moon glistened upon them, high in the pitch black night. "Surely you've cried before." She muttered quietly, gazing up at the moon instead of his face.

Shrugging, he looked at her, slightly depressed. "Never in front of anyone. And not because of some male pride. Vampires make a point of not crying in front of others." But seeing her cry oddly made him want to. Cam didn't like it. He never enjoyed seeing a girl cry, and seeing Alto shed tears made him want to destroy anyone who caused her pain.

"Why? You can cry TEARS, though, right?" she asked curiously. She sniffled again and rubbed her eyes with her hand. "Sorry, I'll stop now. Guys hate girls crying..." Her eyes were still a bit teary, but she sighed and moved on. "So, tell me a bit about your life. What's it like as a vampire..? And did you have enough blood from my tongue, or you want more?" she questioned.

Cam smiled weakly down at her. "No. We don't cry because we cry blood. Tears don't come to those who die," he said grimly. "And...being a vampire is very...boring, sometimes. Very violent at others. But mostly, it's kinda lonely. But I have to say the loneliest vampire I ever met was Morgan." He gently put a finger on her lips and shook his head before withdrawing it. He didn't want to make her dizzy from blood loss.

"So I see." Alto sighed. Her tongue had stopped bleeding already, and she grinned deviously. She leaned forward to kiss him once more and taste his lips one more time. It was quite sweet-but it was probably better for him when he got the blood-the double dose. Both blood and affection all together in one package. ooc; -cues for Morgan to come in-

Cam closed his eyes, willing away her sadness with his lips. He didn't like to see her filled with sorrow. It made his old heart ache to help her, but he was so helpless.
Another figure shadowed the doorstep. Walking in, the figure seemed to glide. It looked quite like a young man, probably in collage or highschool. It was difficult to tell with the beanie hat pulled low and the eyes cast to the ground. The man's hands were in his pockets and he walked with a slouch, and seemed to not be all that happy to be lurking in a church. But something told the man this was the place to be.
The eyes landed on the kissing pair, and at first skimmed with disinterest and disgust. But suddenly they snapped back and zoomed in on the man's face, looking at every delicate pore and the long eyelashes and the doe brown eyes.
Immediately the fists clenched and he sniffed. He tried to move forth to nail the girl with a hard punch, but he couldn't. It was as if every violent intention of attack was halted by some firm invisible hand.

Alto could sense another person in their presence when she was kissing Cam. She pulled back and snapped her head. "Who's this, Cam.. is it a spy from the Vampire Clan?" she asked in worry. She gulped and smiled deviously at the unknown man. "There's a veil that protects others from getting hurt here. No matter how hard you try, you can't hurt me. It's a truce bound by faith here..." she murmured.

In a low, growling voice there came the reply, "Why don't you and I step outside then?" It was gruff and male...but something was off about it. Cam turned and looked at the other vampire suspiciously.
"I don't recognize him," he muttered for just her ears. He stood up and faced the other vampires imperiously. Being older than almost all vampires in the Clan, he could prove a menacing site. But this fellow seemed not at all intimidated, tilting his head up to look at Cam in the face. "Why don't you just leave us alone? There's nothing wrong with a lycan and a vampire being together."
The lip of the other man curled up in disgust.

"Hm," Alto muttered, scratching her chin. "Then I dunno." The scent of the guy wasn't human, nor male.. "It's not a human, lycan, Or a male." She muttered to Cam. "I can scent him, or should I say.. her.." she growled. "Who are you?" she barked.

The vampire sneered, turning his...her gaze to leer at Alto. "Pah. I don't have to tell a little runt of a lycan like you," she growled. "But...if you must know, the name's Morgan."
Immediately a hand reached forward and pulled off the obscuring hat as Cam seized her by the shoulders and turned the other vampire to look her in the face. Seeing a very familiar glower meeting him, he dropped the hat and turned and fled. His heart would of been beating rapidly in shock and hurt at seeing his sire so unexpectedly.
Morgan looked after him, picking up her hat and chuckling gruffly. "See you later, kid. I got myself a fledgling a catch." Turning abruptly she practically floated out of the church, in a slow, easy pursuit of the running Cam, obviously not thinking that Alto could prove violent once the elder vampire left the church.
